Manager Copilot
As the solo designer, I drove the stories, flows, and hand-off of this agentic decision-making partner for the company hackathon.
Why this matters
The current manager dashboard is outdated. We’re building agentic interfaces that need to be stress-tested.
The Learn product won a spot in the hackathon so we could explore the technical constraints of our future agentic experiences. I was 1 of the 5 designers selected to represent our HCM design team.
My impact
I deliver results, even when I am the only designer in the room.
Defined stories to drive project clarity
My product manager gave me bullet points for what business goals the experience should meet. My engineers gave me a overview of the data and foreseeable technical capabilities of the agents. I turned it all into critical user journeys and scenarios to get us all on the same page.
Prototyped 5 flows with detailed specs for engineer handoff
I led reviews with product management and engineering stakeholders to ensure I met all requirements.
Strategically picked my battles
With the time crunch, I advocated for specific visual changes and non-negotiable design guidelines. I documented anything else we needed to iterate at a systems level.
Improved fit and finish of the new components
Through conversations with the engineers and my own scenario-based stress-testing, I documented and presented all IxD and VxD changes to the core components team.
